Average the Recent Past
Forecast with a moving average, choose its window, and tell a line you could draw on the day from one that peeks ahead.
A Jeddah bakery takes about 120 app orders a day. On day 25 a second branch opens, and orders jump to about 150. Each day also wobbles by ten or so, for no reason anyone can name.
