Not Every Input Matters
Compute a neuron's output by hand from its weights and bias, and say what each one controls.
You are deciding whether to walk to the shop. Is it raining? Is it cold? Do you have an umbrella? The 1943 unit counts all three the same. You do not. Rain matters a lot, cold a little, an umbrella cancels rain. So give each fact a number: how much it counts, and which way it pushes.
