Two Neurons Beat XOR
Solve XOR with a hidden layer of two neurons, and say why the activation between the layers is required.
No single straight cut splits the XOR square. You proved that in lesson 6. So make two cuts. Then let a third neuron look at both answers and decide. Those two middle neurons are called a hidden layer.
