One Number for Agreement
Read the sign and rough size of a dot product straight off a picture.
Two arrows can lean the same way, stand square to each other, or pull against each other. One number, the dot product, tells you which. Multiply the first slots, then the second slots, and add. Positive means they agree. Zero means a right angle. Negative means they pull apart.
